MANGO
A buttery ensaymada topped with mango butter cream brings this succulent, sweet and tangy fruit from the Philippine tropics straight to your table. As the Philippines’ most popular fruit, the mango brings back our childhood memories of picking them straight from our backyard. FILIPINO CLASSIC
The classic cheese ensaymada dates back to an era of three centuries of Spanish rule. With Spanish recipes handed down and altered through generations, the Filipino ensaymada has evolved into a buttery brioche-like bun, topped with butter, sugar and grated queso de bola (aged edam cheese). Enjoy the cheese ensaymada, just as how our grandmothers used to make them.
UBE

Ube is a very popular flavor in the Philippines that is used in pastries, cakes, and ice cream. The Ube ensaymada boasts of a rich ube cream topping that melts into the heated brioche. It was not as good as I hope it will be
The bread was dry, the mango ensaymada did not have a strong mango flavor, more like a mango flavoring added to the buttercream and for the price of it, I would have expected Philippine mangoes pureed and fold into the buttercream. As a fellow Filipino and baker, I could have made one better myself.

Impressively good
Most times photos tend to oversell items but these delectable treats were spot on! The bread is light with the good yeasted flavor I expect from ensaymada. The icing is light, buttery, and true to each flavor. I have never had a cheesier tasting ensaymada!. The cardboard cups hold its shape well for shipping. The clear wrapping protects each roll well but maybe some tape would help keep them closed better. Would definitely order again!

It was suppose to be brought back home to Toronto
Purchased several boxes to give as gifts and to be brought back home to Toronto. Let's just say....It never made it to its destination. Fill in the blanks. Hahahaha! These were delicious.

Perfect Ensaymada
I learned about Ensaymada Project through FB. There was so much good reviews that we just had to meet Chari. She was just awesome and her house smells delicious!!!. She welcomed us to her home and showed us where the E's were made! She has perfected her craft!!! Everything that comes out from the kitchen was amazing. The presentation and the quality never fails. So much effort has been put in all the orders and that's what we really love! She even accommodates the different requests for flavors in the box. This is a must try! :) Thank you Chari!

Amazing and Delicious
I was never a fan of Ensaymadas. Growing up in United states my mom had always gotten them from red ribbon bake shop. They were dry and had hard cheese on top. Yuck. Then one day I got to try Enseymadas from the Enseymada Project at a local shop and OMG it completely changed the way I feel about this pastry. EP Enseymadas are soft, buttery, and are so delicious that I have to force myself not to eat the whole box in one sitting. Since I wanted to share the love I ordered the classic collection for my parents. The selection is great especially for my older parents who are more used to traditional flavors. Order these for your next party or family gathering. Definitely a hit!
