I always say that her ensaymadas are better than cupcakes. I think it probably would have been better if I picked this up rather than had this shipped because some of toppings kind of melted but of course it wasn't her fault. It was still good.

The real Ensaymada texture with a twist in various creative flavors! So delicious !

Every bite was worth it, so yummy & fluffy and still tasted fresh...The toppings were just enough, nothing too sweet.. Told my family & friends, a must try for them!!!

You won’t regret this Box, I love the 3 original flavors, the brioche texture is a hybrid between a croissant and a cruller donut, the toppings are not super sweet and just right, great with coffee or glass of cold milk. Chari was also very easy to communicate with, she knows what customer service means and that’s always a Plus! I’ll def be ordering more.

I love the classic cheese ensaymada. Hard to resist eating a couple in one seating. I also like the salted caramel, Will order these 2 flavors againi, but not the ube nor mango.

I like the queso de bola the most but it's out of season during summer and fall. The toppings used to be solid queso de bola, in my observation; but it is now mixed with butter and they used Marca Pina before; now it's Edam cheese.

This was our 3rd time ordering!! We can’t get enough! Warm it up for 12 seconds in the microwave and OMGOOODNESS its heaven!!!!! we will order again and again!!!!

I specifically commented in my order that my previous order did not have enough of the cream topping. Based on my experience, the cream topping has been decreasing over time. Despite my request, the order I got had less cream topping than my order from two weeks ago. I even suggested that I pay for extra topping, if need be - but the request fell on deaf ears. The ensaymadas seem to be losing their personalized touch over time.

I searched online for ensaymada to send to my parents and found this site. I bought a Noche Buena box for them and one for me. Both arrived quickly and were packaged well with a lovely ribbon. They taste great! I'll definitely be ordering again in the future. Thanks!

I sent the earlier review re "Issues with Packing" and I just want it to be known that was the only issue with the order. And, it may have been a fluke as I am aware of the care they take with their product. Anyway, I just wanted to add that Chari was very apologetic and I was given a credit of the full amount of the order asap. This just goes to show that Chari takes pride with her product. It is just unfortunate that this happened and I had to let it be known.

Usually, they are excellent! This time around, the packaging was really bad so the toppings all stuck to the wrapping.

I sent the Noche Beuna Box to my brother and his family in Houston for Thanksgiving. It arrived in 2 days. They absolutely love it! They know it’s best to microwave for a few seconds and they even hide it from their guests. Everyone I’ve ever bought this for says it’s LIFE CHANGING. Since the first time I tasted this ensaymada, I never looked back.Definitely the best in the whole world! I’ve been ordering for my family and also to give as presents and they never disappoint.I would get phone calls afterwards asking where to buy them!

We first tried these at the 626 Night Market and fell in love. My husband wanted to drive back the net day to buy more (over 50 miles)..lol. Instead, I ordered this box for Father's Day and my hubby was so happy. Since Father's Day, he bought even more of these when he was in LA and brought a dozen more home. Our favorite in this box is definitely the Ube. Oh, and agree that it's better when warmed for 8-9 seconds in the microwave..

I have received them as gifts before and since they were really good, I decided to give them as presents as well to my relatives. They were a hit! And it’s a lot better when you warm them up a little. I highly recommend these Ensaymadas.

Praises are what i got when i shared my orders with my friends from San Jose, CA, Canada and Georgia!! The dough is silky and moist.. and fine! I love the sight of the melted cheese after shortly heating a classic ensaymada! Far cry from the commercially sold ones. Keep the quality!

Ube Ensaymada is good and a change to the regular Ensaymada. It melts in your mouth after warming it even if it has been refrigerated/frozen

The package came soon as expected w/c is good. The presentation was very impressive. Mother's comment with the ensayamada was dry :(

Thank you, Chari -- it is light, and airy, with just the right sweetness, as it is called a sweet bread- the Ensaimada! The different varieties are a nice touch for the holidays-- my kids love the nutella, Ube, and queso de bola!! I especially love the queso de bola, and an occasional ube!! I know the long process of making Ensaimadas- the delicate dough is made then allowed to rise and then rise again, My mom used to bake some - when the Nanny of my sister was still with us-- I know this, that's why I go to Chari's website and order online. I cannot bake them myself! I received them in no time at all, packaged beautifully!!! This Christmas season, i sent Ensaimadas to my close family and friends for Food gifts. I've tried many ensaymadas in the Philippines and here in California but nothing can compare to the delicious goodness of these ensaymadas! They melt in your mouth. Totally worth the price!

If you haven't tried an Ensaymada Project ensaymada, this is the box to get. Love the classic ensaymada - the smooth and soft dough, butter, sugar and cheese are perfect. Those who aren't sure of what to choose, or someone who wants to try it should get this one as it will give you a great sample of each kind of ensaymada.

I love these pillowy ensaymadas! The right amount of squishiness with a soft and buttery flavor, delicate yet not crumbly, and toppings that are deliciously decadent and subtly sweet. Yummy in an elegant box.

I was sent a dozen of these delIcious Ensaymadas (1/2 classic,1/2 ube) by my niece who lives out in SF. How could I have not known about these ensaymadas sooner when I live in SoCal? After following the heating instructions on one of the ube ones, I plated it on a white dessert plate, positioned my tea next to it, and with napkin on my lap, dessert fork in hand, ATTACKED the irresistible ensaymada with the slightly-melting ube butter topping. The texture was just fantastic, flavor was a good balance-- highlighting the ube flavor with a slight buttery taste. I LOVED IT! Problem was, one wasn't enough AND I still had to try the classic. After heating it up, I thought, forget the fork and took it by hand and bit right through a firm but giving bread that was moist and bursting with the flavors of an ensaymada I've always imagined a good one should have! I am happy that someone can make this quality of ensaymada in this part of my world. This will be my indulgence : ), my 'go to' for presents to dear friends whom I want to show that I thought of them through every bite. Also like the packaging and the reliability of the shipment. So far, I've ordered 4 more dozens...in 2 weeks. I should have one waiting outside my door when I roll out of bed to start my day. Good morning!

I ordered my first box for Christmas (the original ensaymadas). It was so amazing to have an ensaymada in the morning again with my coffee - a taste of home. I received my second box (the ube and original combo) a few days ago - promptly put it into the freezer so I would be able to have a "treat" every morning. I had never tasted ube ensaymada before. This morning: revelation. Holy moly, this is GOOD! It's light and not too sweet. Love it. Shall definitely be a regular customer. (Please tell me you will expand to other Pinoy goodies in the future...)
