I've tried many ensaymadas in the Philippines and here in California but nothing can compare to the delicious goodness of these ensaymadas! They melt in your mouth. Totally worth the price!

If you haven't tried an Ensaymada Project ensaymada, this is the box to get. Love the classic ensaymada - the smooth and soft dough, butter, sugar and cheese are perfect. Those who aren't sure of what to choose, or someone who wants to try it should get this one as it will give you a great sample of each kind of ensaymada.

I love these pillowy ensaymadas! The right amount of squishiness with a soft and buttery flavor, delicate yet not crumbly, and toppings that are deliciously decadent and subtly sweet. Yummy in an elegant box.

I was sent a dozen of these delIcious Ensaymadas (1/2 classic,1/2 ube) by my niece who lives out in SF. How could I have not known about these ensaymadas sooner when I live in SoCal? After following the heating instructions on one of the ube ones, I plated it on a white dessert plate, positioned my tea next to it, and with napkin on my lap, dessert fork in hand, ATTACKED the irresistible ensaymada with the slightly-melting ube butter topping. The texture was just fantastic, flavor was a good balance-- highlighting the ube flavor with a slight buttery taste. I LOVED IT! Problem was, one wasn't enough AND I still had to try the classic. After heating it up, I thought, forget the fork and took it by hand and bit right through a firm but giving bread that was moist and bursting with the flavors of an ensaymada I've always imagined a good one should have! I am happy that someone can make this quality of ensaymada in this part of my world. This will be my indulgence : ), my 'go to' for presents to dear friends whom I want to show that I thought of them through every bite. Also like the packaging and the reliability of the shipment. So far, I've ordered 4 more dozens...in 2 weeks. I should have one waiting outside my door when I roll out of bed to start my day. Good morning!
